Ingredient Required

  1. Chickpeas 1 cup/200g

    boil in 10 cups water for 2 hours then add one teaspoon Baking Soda & boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Potatoes 1 cup

    boiled, peeled and diced
  3. Guava 1 cup

    diced
  4. Grapes 1 cup

  5. Mangoes 1 cup peeled & diced

  6. Apple 1 cup

    diced
  7. Banana 1 cup peeled & slice

  8. Pomegranate Seeds ½ cup

  9. Tamarind ½ cup

  10. Lemon juice 3-6 tablespoons

  11. Dates 2-3 pieces

    soaked in water for 1 hour then make pulp.
  12. Shan Chaat Masala 4-5 tablespoons

Steps of Cooking

  1. Combine Dal Mash and Rice (without water), Baking Soda, Onion Paste, Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste, salt and grind in blender to a course batter. Mix fresh Coriander and Green chilies.
  2. Take a tablespoon of batter and drop into hot oil. Fry on medium heat until golden. Remove, cool and add to a bowl of water.
  3. Mix Sugar in yogurt and spread half in a dish. Place the soaked dumpling on it and pour the remaining yogurt over it.
