Ingredient Required
Meat
750g
cubes on bone
Potato
3 large/350g
Peeled and quartered
Onion
3 medium / 250g
finely sliced
Yogurt
1 cup / 250g
whipped
Garlic paste
1 tablespoon
Ginger paste
1 tablespoon
Fresh Coriander
2 tablespoons
Oil / Ghee
¾ cup / 150 ml
Shan Aaloo Gosht Mix
1 Packet mix in ½ cup of water
Steps of Cooking
- In hot oil fry the onions until golden. Remove and crush.
- In the same oil add ginger paste and garlic paste and meat. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add Shan Aaloo Gosht Mix and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes. Add yogurt and stir.
- Add 3-4 cups water. Cover and cook on low heat until the meat is tender.
- Add potatoes and the crushed fried onions. Cook for 15 minutes.
- Add green coriander and mix.
