RECIPE

Ingredient Required

Meat

500g
cubes on bone

Onion

2 medium / 200g
chopped

Spinach

1 kg
1 kg

Garlic Paste

2 Tablespoons

Yogurt

½ cup/100g
whipped

Ginger Paste

1 Tablespoon

Green Chili

4-5 Pieces
chopped

Ghee / Oil

1 cup/175ml

Shan Palak Gosht Mix

1 packet, mix in ½ cup of water

Steps of Cooking

  1. In hot oil fry onions until light golden.
  2. Sear meat in fry pan.
  3. Add garlic and ginger paste and continue stir-frying
  4. Continue to fry until the meat turns brownish.
  5. Add Shan Palak Gosht Mix and fry until it starts to stick to the bottom of the pan.
  6. Add yogurt and continue to stir-fry.
  7. Separately: In 2 Liters of water add ½ teaspoon salt and the spinach. Boil for 3-4 minutes. Then drain the spinach and add to the meat.
  8. Add 2-3 cups of water and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
  9. Add Green chilies and cook until oil separates from the spinach.
